Wow, you are the best! Seriously, we are blown away about the response for Amazon reviews. In the last newsletter, a friend challenged us to get 30 reviews by the end of the month and did not think we would pull it off. Of course I thought differently as I know you are dedicated action takers. In short, you CRUSHED that number! We are right now at 60 reviews in Amazon! Oh heck ya! You doubled our expectations. Amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. In return, I (Dr Mike T) will send you the Triphasic Recovery Manual as promised for your review. I just literally got the codes to get the download at no cost from CoachTube this AM, so I will be working today and tomorrow to personally get them to each one of you that submitted a review. There is still time to get in on this deal this month, so if you still want to submit a review to Amazon by midnight Jan 31, then reply to me here and I will hook you up with the TP Recovery Manual (a $19.95 normal selling price) at no cost. Thank you again and thanks for your patience on getting the manual to all of you that submitted reviews . Triphasic Training Sessions Videos One of the questions we get a lot - and for good reason - goes like this: "I picked up the TP2 book and am really loving it so far. My question is the programs in the end of the book and the accompanying PDF seem really long. I am not sure I have the physical time to get through all of it with my athletes, any advice?" You are correct that they are not "do 2 sets of deadilifts and a few pull-ups to call it a day"; however despite the appearance of them being super super long, they are very doable for most athletes and facilities Here are 3 videos for you below: Thursday Athlete Performing Block 1 of 3 in Workout https://youtu.be/X_sSbz30e64?si=dT49cYsKfqfMQ7F9 Thursday Athlete Performing Block 2 of 3 in Workout https://youtu.be/HIhCuAb52no?si=BnzwzIp0vnDULT4T Thursday Athlete Performing Block 3 of 3 in Workout https://youtu.be/T9N1u8jIHRk?si=2SA6xNTSwYhHwai3 Now you can see the progression from one exercise to the next in real time per the videos above and it does not look as overwhelming or crazy time consuming when you can watch it. Great question! Since February 8th, I (Dr MIke T here) have implemented a daily cardiovascular training regimen, maintaining perfect adherence for 47 consecutive days without exception. This protocol wasn't designed for optimal conditions, but rather to test the efficacy of absolute consistency regardless of circumstances. The daily sessions have varied considerably: 15-minute Zone 2 work performed at 9pm despite significant fatigue 6-minute progressive interval sessions conducted pre-dawn High-intensity...
Happy Saturday and I hope you are charging up to crush it this week. Today we are chatting about the role of the aerobic system to support lifting and sports performance. Remember - the key is to do high quality work first, then repeat it. Your athlete's aerobic system is what allows them to recover faster during training from set to set and even session to session; thus you can do more high quality work. Functional Reserve Range A key concept to understand is Functional Reserve Range (FRR),...
